Previously a counselor and
Registered Nurse, Kathryn has
always had a passion for nature,
self renewal, fitness and health.
Deciding to combine these passions,
she ventured into the world of body
scrubs. Her showers were never quite
complete without a body scrub.Looking
at many products on store shelves, were
quite a shock. So many products contained unnatural and synthetic ingredients.
Kathryn wanted a product that was not
only free of preservatives or synthetic fragrance, she wanted a scrub that was inspired by enticing aromas and one that would feel inspiring
to use every morning. She envisioned dark chocolate cupcakes, fragrant fresh
grown rosemary, freshly baked vanilla
sugar cookies, a fresh picked juicy lime or a cup of soothing hot brewed green tea. She wanted to keep the packaging simple, yet attractive and to
make sure it was all natural and good for the
environment. After giving
many out to friends and family, she
was told they were the best scrubs
they had ever used. This inspired her
to develop Sugarpea. Kathryn
currently lives in Issaquah, WA on
Squak Mountain. The Issaquah Alps
were the force behind Sugarpea Body Scrubs.......
